Terms and Conditions

These T&Cs apply to all projects carried out by translaticon for its clients. 


The client can request a quote which will be free of charge. Each translation request from the client shall be submitted to translaticon in a written form such as E-Mail. The client shall also get a written offer which contains the costs and timelines of the project. Translaticon reserves the right to not to work on a project where important details such as target language, wished delivery date are missing.


When a client cancels a project, already processed work will be charged. Translaticon reserves the right to cancel a project if source documents needed for the translation were not submitted by the client in time.


The payment must be done in advance if there's no other agreement. Any late payment or failure to pay will cause an immediate collection of the entire amount due from the client. In this case all work and orders in progress will be suspended.


translaticon shall not be liable for damages caused by natural disasters, power failure etc. translaticon shall not be liable for defects, damages and late deliveries caused by third parties. In case of defects within the translation, complaints can be submitted to translaticon in written form such as E-Mail. The complaint needs to be done within a deadline of 5 days. Defects within the translation shall not be a reason to question the entire translation, in such cases translaticon shall do the needed modifications. In cases of late deliveries which are caused by translaticon, the translation agency shall reimburse a part of the total amount. 


translaticon is the owner of the translated metarial until payment has been made in full. The client only acquires the right to use the translation with the complete payment.


translaticon's translators agree to maintain secrecy in regards to the content of the documents to be translated. 

Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

Swiss law is applicable to the contractual relations between translaticon and the client as well as to any further rights and obligations resulting from these relations. Place of jurisdiction for both parties to the contract is Zürich, Switzerland.
